We’ll embrace the longest night of the year and welcome the return of the light.
What to Expect:
A Warm Circle Event: Share stories, set intentions, and connect with other people in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Labyrinth Walk: Experience the magic of a candlelit labyrinth under the stars. Walk the path as a metaphor for your journey, reflecting on the past year and setting intentions for the year ahead.
Seasonal Refreshments: Enjoy warm beverages and light seasonal treats in a cozy atmosphere.
Optional Outdoor Experience: While most of the gathering will be held indoors, we’ll step outside for the labyrinth walk, weather permitting. Dress warmly and bring sturdy footwear and a flashlight or headlamp for walking on uneven ground.

Who can attend? This event is open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re familiar with solstice circles or new to the concept, you’re welcome here.
What should I bring? Comfortable warm clothing for the labyrinth walk, sturdy shoes, and a small item for the circle—such as a token, photo, or memento—to represent your intentions or reflections.
Will the event be canceled if the weather is bad? The gathering will proceed indoors even in poor weather, but the labyrinth walk will depend on conditions. We’ll notify participants of any updates. In the event of unsafe driving conditions, we will meet on Zoom for our solstice event and convene at the farm at a future date for our labyrinth walk.

Don’t forget the lawyer stuff… we’ll be walking outside in the dark. We ask that you bring a flashlight and wear appropriate footwear, but there are inherent risks associated with outside activities.
If you are uncomfortable with walking outside in the dark, please know that it will be perfectly fine for you to stay inside. There will be an alternative activity available for you.
If you do participate in the optional labyrinth walk, we ask that you agree to the following:
Liability Release - Please note that there are inherent risks associated with participation in this event that could cause serious injury or death, including, but not limited to:
Navigating uneven terrain in low-light conditions;
Potential for slips, trips, and falls;
Environmental hazards like rocks, roots, and wildlife;
Actions of participants and spectators;
Negligence of other participants and users of the premises; and/or
Negligence of the owners of the event location.
Accordingly, I agree that I must make choices for my behavior at all times and I am solely responsible for my own safety. I further acknowledge and understand that NO WARRANTIES are being extended to me with respect to any aspect of the facility or activities. I agree and understand that this event is a purely voluntary activity and that if I am not willing to acknowledge the risks and agree not to sue, I and/or my children or guests should not engage in the event. In consideration of being permitted to engage in the activity and use the facilities and premises, I AGREE on behalf of myself, my heirs, my assigns and if applicable, my minor children or wards, to ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RISKS OF PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, and to RELEASE, DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the organizers of this event (including Angela Hayden and Big Life Leaps and/or The Fun Advocate, as well as the owner, manager, employees and/or agents operating the facility at which the event takes place from any and all legal liability for personal injury, illness, death, or property damage sustained in connection with the event and use of the facilities, for any reason and under all circumstances, incurred at any time.
